CO2 Laser

So I got laser dermabrasion today. I am pink and sore,....and bored ALREADY!. I can't work for two weeks. Has anyone ever had this or know anybody who did?

I actually had to be put under for it, anathsesia(Sp?) is incredible. One minute I felt like I had a little buzz on and the next minute I woke up.

Yeah I had some brutal acne in high school...which led to even worse scarring. So I had it done since I am still pretty young.

Well I can still see some scars..The doc said it isn't going to be perfect. The first time you have it done it will be like 60% better. He said to compare it to being stretched, so it will look tigheter, younger, less cratered. He said down the road if I want it done again I can get it 80-90% better. Unfortunately it will never be "perfect", but anything better is good for me.

Right now it is pretty raw, Like when you fall and scrape your knee, that raw pink skin that appears. It seems like it will be a pretty good improvement.

I had two chemical peels prior to this to somewhat prepare my face for what was coming, and even those showed a great imrprovement in my texture. I will keep you posed in the next few weeks as it heals.
