ok, I know that most all kisses usually have different meanings if you will. Or at least that's how I've always viewed kisses. Such as, a peck kiss on the cheek is "just friends"; neck kisses are "i want you" type of kisses; so on and so on. So back to the reason I posted. What exactly does a kiss on the top of your head mean? You know how when you're little kids, your grandparens would kiss you on top of your head? Or like I have seen it when father's kiss daughters. You should know what kind of kiss I'm talking about. Anywho, I was j/w, if a guy gave a girl (let's just say ex-g/f) a kiss on the head, what would you interpret (sp?) it to mean? thanks

well, I don't wanna interpret it wrong, but sometimes kisses there from a guy and girl who like each other or liked each other can mean that they want to kiss you, ya know? I mean, they kiss you there to say "I want to kiss you on the lips" kinda deal, at least, that's what my experience has said.

When my b/f gives me a kiss on the forehead, I interpret it as him believing that I am an adorable person, b/c usually he's like "ur soo beautiful." It makes me feel special and gives me the urge to want to kiss him on the lips afterwards. :D

The times I've been kissed on the head is when we're cuddling/he's holding me close. I was going to post that it means something along the lines of adoring you, but people already posted it. But hell...it's whatever you want it to be.

I kinda thought that it probably meant somethin like what everyone is saying, but then again it was with my ex, so I wasn't quite sure what to make of it. I personally have never sat down and gone, "Gee, I want to tell this guy [this]. I'll kiss him [here]." I just do it. If I kiss someone on the cheek, that either means that I'm too shy at the moment to go for the lips or that their cheek was the most convenient body part (i.e. if I'm stealing a kiss).

Sometimes the kiss on the top of the head means, "You're short, and it's easier to do this than to bend all the way down." At least in my experience. :P

My guy kisses me on the top of my head occasionally. Usually if we're cuddling or something because it is convenient, especially when I'm in a mood to just be held. Sometimes he'll kiss my forehead or the top of my head when we're at church because it's more appropriate than other forms of kissing.

I don't know if he really "means" anything by it, but it makes me feel special and cherished. I guess I'm a touch mushy :)

that's so true!... but i guess those lists are just for fun... with most things, you have to look at them in context, like what situation you're in and things like that, so how you interpret different kinds of kisses should depend on when and how they happen! :wink: :D
