Does using ky jelly regularly for a couple of weeks or some type of lubrication interfere with the natural lube your body makes. Does your body slow down or stop making lubrication while you are using bottled lube. I've never needed it before until a month ago.

it shouldn't make any difference.

I've never had the need to use any lube, so I wouldn't know from experience. But that would be some evil plot that the FDA would allow you to use lubes, and it'd just dry you up so you'd have a lubrication dependancy and just be giving cash to Astroglide, K-Y, etc... But you know, I honestly don't see why you would... become dependent on lubrication. I have always thought that the need for artificial lubrication is all in your head, especially if you haven't had problems before. Because sex is as mental as it is physical, and maybe you just need more mental preparation than you did before. Foreplay is a god. :D But, um yeah, as I go off topic, like usual, I don't think it would...

It shouldn't (at least I guess) I don't even think your body can tell the diff. from natural and nottled lube....Just like if you put fake tear drops in your eyes...they don't dry up after if you don't put them in again....I wouldn'y be concerned

Hope I Helped :)

There is no mention in any medical literature (that I can find) of artificial lube interfearing (Boy, I wish we had a spell-checker  ) with the production of "Natural" lube.

There is some anicdotal (Oh Yeah, DEFINATELY need a spell-check.) evidence of K-Y leaving little balls of plastic (or something like that) in......ummmm.......well, in places where they should not be.

K-Y is a "surgical" lube. I suggest we leave it for surgery. Use a lube especially designed for sex. (They TASTE better! :P )

never heard that before! It's in the phramacy right next to the condoms, with nothing surgical in sight, and I've always heard it IS the lube especially designed for sex. I wouldn't know about the taste, lol.

Well my guy and I are still kinda in the beginning stages of sex so we do still use lube most times but he got this Tropical flavoured one, not KY so I wouldn't know for that, this one does smell nice and taste ok although we don't go near licking at it, I only know how it tastes cos I was curious so licked it off him to find out.

I don't think that it interferes with your body's natural lubrication production, it just shouldn't really. I haven't noticed ANY decrease really so I wouldn't say it does.
