Holy SHIT.
I came out of the cinema in a daze - it's not hard to fail, but it's really, really hard to fail so spectacularly.
Things I cannot fucking believe:
- Giant robots playing hide and seek with parents in the backyard
- Giant robot urinating on police officer
- "You're more than meets the eye!"
- "We came from a million light years away to get the Old Spice - it was shot through the universe onto your planet because _____________________________. This happened thousands of years ago because the evil leader came looking for it and got frozen in ice because of ____________________. By the way, we can all transform into whatever we like, but rather than turning into a fighter jet or something useful, I'm going to become something worthless, like a stereo, or a gangsta SUV."
- "We need to hide the Old Spice somewhere for minimum casualties!"
"What about the hugely populated city?"
"Bingo!"
- "Quickly, the way to solve this situation is to run alongside me - the giant robot - and get the Old Spice to that helicopter!"
".... wha why?"
"_________!"
- OP - "Well, we must go now..."
BB - "I wanna stay with this kid"
OP - "...and so it was that we stayed on Earth."
THANKS MICHAEL BAY THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCH

I saw Transformers last night. I was at the 8pm opening show. Got amazing seats. My friend took the day off work, and my job was to bring him food, so I was like 4th in line, and we got the best seats in the house, pretty much.
If you ignore the blatant plot holes and cheese in the movie, it was actually a lot of fun. I went for the same reason I went to see die hard: the fun factor. The goal was to bring back to life what we children of the 80's grew up with, and I think they did a good job of that.

Everytime I think Of transformers I just laugh, because that little guy from Clerks II, (Mathias I think?) always comes to mind.

Hahahaa...Just saw it. I never played with those things as a kid or had a serious interest to see the movie(my husband did)..But it was pretty good. Like they seemed so real..Crazy effects. Optimus Prime had a bit of wit about him too for a robot lol.

The movie was a good one because it just happens to bring back old memories. It's just like Harry potter, you just want to see how they potray them in the movies. And it was awesome. It's way updated version compared to our toys and cartoons of course, but it was till very fun to see them come to life. If you happen to be an 80s baby, you it is definitely a must-see! (anyone 20 years and below might not get what the fuss is about)
Heck, who cares about the plot. Let us relive our childhood fun! Hooray, I watched it twice already and i remember all the good parts. It's just so darned cool to see them transform and stuff, it's the coolest CGIs ever.

"all the good parts"
Which 10 seconds was that?

If I DO have to pick thebest part of the movie within such a short timeframe, I'd say the best part was on air force one:
"Can you rustle up some dingdongs?"

Hey, is it wrong to like transformers? Does it make me a dork? But seriously, i think it is the best movie yet so far.
but the "look for the glasses" part was a bit over-stretched i must admit. oh and the decepticons are way cooler than autobots in the movie...
(dorK) I wonder when the other peeps will back me up here... or maybe they havent seen it yet. hehe

I left the theater, came home, and made my own transformers movie with my old and new toys. I will post it when I find my USB hook-up for my computer. And let me tell you, my movie is better. Mr. Bay, you can lick my left testicle. Why left? I dunno, I'm just a left side oriented person, anything I say to do, it involves my left... I don't say kiss my ass, I say kiss my left ass cheek.
Okay, I'm done now, but yeah, the movie sucked. I'm going to see it again, only because I can for free, but yeah, maybe I'll find 20 seconds of good stuff.

I thought it was pretty good. But I don't know anything about Transformers in general.
And the trailer at the front for the Untitled J.J. Abrams Project (aka Cloverfield) looked neat.

I saw it last night. When the credits began to roll, I just burst out laughing. What a piece of garbage. The only thing that I enjoyed about it were the effects. However, the end fight scene was so busy that I really cant even give it the due credit.
